Hidimba Devi Temple  This temple is definitely the most popular and visited temple of the region. It is dedicated to Hidimba Devi, the wife of Lord Bhima of Mahabharata, and is perhaps the only temple that is dedicated to her. It was built by Maharaja Bahadur Singh in 1552 and is renowned for its exceptional stone carvings that depict various animals, local deities, and plants. The center of attraction is the brass idol of Goddess Hidimba. People from all parts of the country make it a point to visit this temple when they visit Kullu Manali. In fact, almost all the packages offered by resorts and travel agents include a visit to this temple, such is its popularity.

Raghunathji Temple  This temple is regarded as the holiest temple in Kullu and is dedicated to Lord Rama. Raja Jagat Singh brought an idol of Lord Ram from Ayodhya, which is the birthplace of God Rama, and established it in Kullu Manali. This temple has a large number of devotees who visit it on a regular basis.

Bijli Mahadev Temple  This temple is located across the River Beas about 10 kilometers from Kullu. Devotees cross the river to reach the temple that is located on a height. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is so named as it also has a 20-meter high lightning rod. It is believed that if any lightning strikes the area, it will pass through the rod and be grounded below the idol of Lord Shiva. The view from this temple is breathtaking thereby making it a must-visit for all types of tourists.

Maheshwar Mahadev Temple This temple was built in the 9th century and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is best known for its intricate stone carvings that are extremely popular tourist attractions.
